Since 2026 targeted energy subsidies (SEF) apply to households earning less than 3 Canastas Básicas Totales.
Check or apply at argentina.gob.ar/subsidios: meter and customer numbers, DNI and CUIL of all adults. If you were in RASE, no need to re-register.
The subsidy is 50% off a block of electricity use and 50% off gas from April to September.
Complaints: first to the company (Edenor/Edesur, Metrogas/Naturgy, AySA) — keep the case number. If unresolved, go to the regulator: power & gas — the new Ente Nacional Regulador del Gas y la Electricidad; water — ERAS (0800-333-0200).
