This page explains what data ArgHub receives from you, why, and how long we keep it. We do not sell data and do not use advertising trackers.
1. Who we are
ArgHub (arghub.app) is a directory and Telegram app for living in Buenos Aires. We are an intermediary: businesses and specialists on ArgHub are independent companies and individuals. They are responsible for their own goods and services and see your contact details when you place an order, booking or request.
2. What data we receive
From Telegram: your id, name, username and language. What you enter yourself: name, phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, delivery address and comments in orders, bookings and requests; messages and photos in chats; reviews and ratings; email if you sign in by email or ask for order updates by mail. From the website without Telegram: the name and contact from the form. Technical data: IP address and browser type, for rate limits and abuse protection.
3. Why we use it
To pass your order or booking to the business and tell you its status in Telegram or by email; to make chats and reviews work; to moderate content and protect the service from fraud and spam; to show the business owner general statistics (visits, orders, appointments).
4. Cookies and statistics
We count visits without cookies or third-party trackers: a “unique visitor” is an anonymous hash with a salt that changes every day, and the hashes are deleted at the end of the day. We use only technical cookies: colour theme, a form-protection token while you fill in a form, and a session if you signed in on the site. There are no advertising cookies; if we add advertising tags we will update this page first.
5. How long we keep it
Contacts, address and text of an order are anonymised 180 days after it closes; the email for order updates after 30 days; payment data (txid) after 90 days; test orders are deleted after 30 days. A web-booking guest’s contact is deleted 30 days after the visit; the visit history (notes, price, photos) after 2 years. Chat messages are kept 180 days after the last message (closed conversations, 30 days). Site statistics are numbers only, kept up to 120 days. Withdrawal-button records are kept 2 years (the personal data in them, 180 days).
6. Third-party services
Telegram: sign-in, notifications and the mini app. Resend: sending emails (receives your email address and the message text). A delivery address (without your name) is sent to geocoders — the Buenos Aires city USIG service and Photon — and point coordinates to the public OSRM routing server (project-osrm.org) to plan courier routes. Cloudflare: delivery and protection of the site. Payment goes directly to the business: ArgHub does not receive card data. The business you write to or order from receives the data needed to fulfil the order.
7. Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data and withdraw consent (Argentine Law 25.326 on personal data protection). The supervisory body is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP). Some data you can delete yourself: a review, an ad, a conversation.
